THE INVESTIGATION
This is the story of a woman killing her husband after years of domestic violence . These documentary-dramas follows a story based on the experience of thousands of women. The judge, court officials and lawyers are played by professionals who carry out the job as if it were a real case. The programme has the emotional power of a drama and the actuality of a documentary.

THE TRIAL
Rachel stabbed her husband after a serious family argument. She had been suffering years of physical and emotional abuse. The defence uses the plea of provocation, against her barrister's advice of diminished responsibility. Is she guilty of murder or the lesser offence of manslaughter? Did she suffer from Battered Woman Syndrome or did she plan to kill him.
