BBC Regional Development Programme - Joint Ventures

DESCRIPTION AND CRITERIA

Scheme Description:

Flashback Television Limited has been selected to participate in the BBC Regional Development Programme and receives a company development deal with the BBC.

The scheme supports the growth of new collaborations/joint ventures with other South West individuals or companies.  An ‘open-door’ policy will enable freelancers and small companies to approach Flashback Bristol with programme/series ideas.

Whilst not entirely closed to one off documentary ideas Flashback is currently concentrating on developing returnable popular factual series for early evening or daytime TV and so those are the sort of ideas that we`ll be most grateful to receive for the duration of this initiative.

Application Criteria:

  • Applicants must be working in the media in the South West of England.
  • Applicants must submit an ‘expression of interest’ together with an equal opportunities form and a CV.
  • Five joint ventures will be selected. The successful applicants will then be asked to submit an ‘expression of interest’ form detailing no more than three ideas.  Flashback will contact those selected and will then send ‘ideas submission’ form to them.
