55 DAYS: THE FALL OF SAIGON

It is one of the iconic images of the twentieth century:   the last Americans in Vietnam scrambling aboard a helicopter on the roof of the C.I.A building in Saigon. It was a traumatic moment that was to shape the American psyche for over a generation.

55 Days : The Fall of Saigon tells the remarkable story of the dramatic events that led up to the chaotic final day itself. Based on powerful personal testimony from those who were there, this drama-documentary brings alive this resonant episode in the year of its thirtieth anniversary.
