Lawson signs C4 deal for second bite of cookery
series
Tv Chef Nigella Lawson has signed a co-production deal with
indie Flashback TV to make the second series of Nigella Bites, writes Georgina Libscomb.
As predicted in Broadcast, the indie will produce the new show with Lawsons new
indie MYC TV (Broadcast 27.10.00). MYC TV was thought to have been in discussions with
Channel 4 and other indies after Lawson and production company Pacific split before
Flashback scooped the deal.
Lawson split from Pacific, who made the first series of the cookery show, in October. She
set up her own company MYC TV to produce the new series but C4 said it would have to be a
co-production with another indie.
Claire Whally is producer of the new series and David Edgar is executive producer. |
