1983 The Brink of Apocalypse

1983 – THE BRINK OF APOCALYPSE is a 90 min drama-doc following events of November 1983 when the Third World War nearly erupted…by accident. This Flashback film is a major co-production between Discovery and Channel 4. In the US this is a 2 Hour Special called 1983 SOVIET WAR SCARE and premieres on 19th September on Discovery Times. “We may have been at the brink of nuclear war and not even known it,” declares Robert Gates, a key interviewee for the programme.
